Paul Sinclair has been lying low since he joined Hill & Knowlton’s public affairs practice last year. But last night he dramatically broke cover to feature as a talking head on Newsnight.
Sinclair, who previously spent a few months at Downing Street in a rather unusual role, sat on a bench with Michael Crick. He described Brown’s reshuffle as ‘not terribly inspiring, but it was a steadying of the ship’.
Alas his identity as a lobbyist was kept firmly under wraps – the caption on the screen simply referred to him as a ‘former adviser to the Prime Minister’.
