Tom Watson’s lobbying brief still up for grabs

The ministerial reshuffle appears to be complete and we’re still none the wiser about who’s taking over Tom Watson’s lobbying reform duties.

In fact it seems to be about the only ministerial duty that’s yet to be allocated.

According to Cabinet Office sources, it’s a toss-up between Olympics minister Tessa Jowell and newly-appointed third sector minster Angela Smith as to who gets it.

Why the delay? Are they both fighting it out for the chance to hang out with lobbyists?
