Quangos stick two fingers up at Pickles

So much for Eric Pickles’ attempts to stop quangos from using lobbyists.

I have discovered that more than 100 publicly funded bodies are still employing public affairs firms, despite the Communities Secretary’s overblown rhetoric about cracking down on the practice.

The latest quarterly APPC register details public affairs agency clients between 1 September and 1 December 2010. It features more than 100 organisations in receipt of public funding.
